Whether you’re a conference guest or a tourist, Hotel Joentalo is a great alternative to a traditional hotel. Our affordable prices, comfortable, well-equipped rooms and quiet, natural location are good reasons to book your accommodation. Our hotel does not have a reception, but accommodation can be booked online via our reservation system or from our sales service on weekdays from 9 am to 3 pm (tel. +358 40 634 25 91 OR info@joentalo.com). Check-in and check-out of the hotel is flexible. On the day of arrival at the latest, you will receive a door code by SMS to the phone number you provided in your booking. The door code will give you access to your room for the duration of your reservation.

The centre of Tornio is only three kilometres away, and the area is a short distance from the rest of the Meri-Lapp region. We want our guests to feel at home and offer a cosy, but high-quality setting for a one-night stay or a longer stay. Our friendly staff is always available and will make sure that your stay goes smoothly.

Hotel Joentalo in a nutshell

We have 30 comfortable, well-equipped and spacious double rooms. Two of the double rooms are located on the street level and are suitable for persons with restricted mobility and for wheelchair users; the other rooms are located on two different floors. Room rates start from 99 €/night, you can check the daily price in the booking system. The hotel room will be at your disposal from 3 pm. The rooms will be vacated by 11 am on the day of departure.

Whether you come alone or with a companion, you will be comfortable in your room. Eedit’s rooms are hotel-level double rooms, and our good beds guarantee a peaceful sleep. The rooms are equipped with a toilet, hairdryer, shower, refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi. If you require an extra bed, we have children’s travel cots; we supply the bed upon request to the room in advance.

We have two wheelchair accessible rooms. The accessible rooms are located downstairs, as there is no elevator. The spacious rooms and toilets are designed for smooth movement both alone and with assistance.

Each floor has a spacious and comfortable lounge with a TV, a small kitchen and a washing room with a washing machine and ironing facilities. In our yard, you will find free parking spaces with heating plugs. There is free (Wi-Fi) Internet access in the entire hotel.

Breakfast is included in the room rate. Breakfast is served in the restaurant Hanna Å, at 7:00 – 10:00. Breakfast serving time may change, check the schedule on the dashboard at the hotel.

You can also prepare and enjoy snack in the lounge area yourself.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in our hotel.

Smoking is not permitted in the hotel area and indoors. Smoking may trigger a fire alarm. All alarm, maintenance and cleaning costs caused by smoking are borne by the person who smoked at the hotel or, ultimately, by the contact person of the booking.

Your stay with us is safe even though there is no reception staff at the hotel. The area of the hotel is monitored by recording surveillance cameras. Exterior doors are kept locked. Despite the camera surveillance, we guarantee the privacy of our customers.

Guests arriving or already staying at the hotel can ask for help by using the emergency number that serves 24/7. You can find the emergency number on the booking confirmation and on the instructions at the hotel.

Hotel guests are encouraged to behave in such a way that they do not disturb other hotel guests or those living in the vicinity of the hotel. The security guard can be alerted by calling the emergency number (24/7) in the event of disturbances.
